One to get them all - Onfinality’s new API for cross-chain NFT indexing

The best dApps need to present multi-chain information to their users in a fast and intuitive way. This is especially true for the NFT realm. However, indexing NFT data from multiple chains, with different protocols and various NFT standards, is an extremely complex and expensive task. And on top of that, a crucial part of NFT data is off-chain. OnFinality solves these problems by allowing developers to offload a lot of work and use a single query to get their NFT data from many Polkadot and Ethereum chains. In this session, we’re going to explore the development journey of the newest NFT API and present a demo.

NFT as a useful player in the IP game of brands - What have we learned?

NFTs become a phenomenon with a significant role not only in the area of law, but in the area of brand strategies and “digital ownership” as well. Various projects operating with NFT start to offer more or less elaborate utility but only a minimum of such projects come up with satisfactory solutions to intellectual property law issues. In last 2 years, we’ve seen projects fading away and we’ve seen projects which survived. In both cases, due to IP law issues. But what did they have in common and what were the biggest flaws? And on the other hand, what were the biggest benefits? The session shall focus on setting the baseline and giving the answers to the most burning questions of NFTs and IP clash so other projects could learn from the mistakes of the previous ones.
